However, raw numbers, technical jargon, and in-the-weeds explanations are hard to digest by everyday people. Data storytelling is an effective way to communicate insights from data analysis by using narratives and visualizations. Data-driven stories can take many forms depending on the audience, such as an annual impact report for community stakeholders, or an interactive dashboard with key metrics for funders or board members.
