How is data access affecting you?

The ripple effects of recent federal funding cuts and removal of data resources threaten to  severely impact the ability of local nonprofits to effectively serve their communities.

Many nonprofits rely on a complex web of funding, often including federal grants and partnerships. Reductions or disruptions in these federal funds can create a cascading effect, straining local budgets and jeopardizing essential community services. This instability can force nonprofits to cut back on programs, reduce staff, or even close their doors, leaving vulnerable populations without vital support.

About the Survey

We want to help you gain access to the data you need to serve your community.

In this survey, we ask questions about your concerns regarding recent disruption of the availability of federal public datasets, and how this has affected your work. We ask for your email address to verify you are a real person and for potential follow-up.

We want to help, and we've brainstormed some ways to do so. We welcome your ideas in the survey!

We will share the results of this survey publicly. We believe data disappearance is a problem, and it is important to draw attention to how it affects Tulsa nonprofits.

We will not share individual or organization names or results, but only trends in the results. The results we share will be anonymized and aggregated.
